Hot Tack Features

Our Standards

Nealco® rarely produces two identical machines. We've made our mark by custom designing each unit. However, when an optional part on our models is repeatedly requested, we will make that part a standard component.

  • Viking® internal gear positive displacement pump
  • Hot Box with 50/100-lb propane tank holder
  • Anti-skid coating on every deck and stepping surface
  • "Easy Clean" solvent tank.

Ergonomic, Insulated Hand Wand

The Ergonomic, Insulated Hand Wand is a renovation of the 60-inch Hot Tack Hand Wand. Yet another example of our customer-driven dedication to design. This new design is well-balanced and perfectly contoured which means no more tired arms or sore back! The silicone-coated fire sleeve made of woven fiberglass keeps the wand cool while adding a comfortable grip. The large handle improves balance and leverage for more comfort. By relocating the valve we made it easier to control and reduced shut-off speed.

Fast Heating Time

Just light the torch and adjust the gas pressure to heat the material. Depending on the material being used, you can be ready in as little as 40 minutes! Dual bypass valves allow circulation through the piping system to keep the material hot and avoid clogging. A 3-inch stainless steel thermometer shows at-a-glance when it's ready for spraying.

Spraybar

The spraybar is optional equipment on all hot tack systems. Available in manual 5-nozzle (72 inches) or 6-nozzle (84 inches) and hydraulic 6-nozzle (84 inches). These spraybars have rapid simultaneous shut off so there is no dripping. Height and angle are easily adjusted. 1 and 2 nozzle extensions are available.

Spraybar Extensions

An extension has two additional nozzles to widen your spray path by an additional 212 – 3 feet. With two extensions (one on each end of the spraybar) it's possible to widen your spray path up to 14 feet! Simply pull down the extension(s) and open the additional spray nozzles as needed for flexible control. When you're finished, the extensions fold up and lock for safe and LEGAL transport between job sites. Available for one or both spraybar ends, the Nealco® Spraybar Extensions are compatible with most 2-inch spraybars.

Easy, Convenient Cleanup

When you're done for the day, simply flush the pipes by opening the solvent tank valve and spray into the waste tank for disposal. The return funnel and cradle keep the hose and wand circulating, so when you go back to spraying your material as at temperature and the tip is not clogged.
